I'm in the same position. A friend recommended it, but he made it sound a bit more fun than it actually was. Looks like it's got potential, but I don't know where.

They've added some more stuff now so it's a bit better. I liked it because of the insane wall-running-rock 'n roll sliding combat^^

its awesome now you got AOE powers and the Defence game type, its a nice way to farm mods and get upgrades

I stopped playing it after while, the combat is nice as are the visuals but far too much grind is required to get anything it's also extremely repetitive.

Don't realy like grindy games (saying that I play World of Warcraft ) but 2 of my freinds are hardcore warframers

Loki doesn't have too much AOE as far as i've noticed. But it's still fun^^

I played it for a while 6 months ago or so, but it eventually gets boring. I have 262h on steam but probably only 100 or so of actual gameplay.

Did ember get any buffs since then? Is she viable now? If so I might try it again.

So from what i have read above warframe is getting fun when you have played it long enough to get in to it, and it`s pretty repetetive.

he's nice for defence's, just put Tesla down by where they spawn and wave 25 lol

ah, so it's still all about farming?

That's the main thing I didn't like about it. The game was fun but after a while it was just about going to defence missions and wub wub wub your way through with banshee.

actually, if you like playing COD Zombies or Horde style games, Defense is very enjoyable, i use it to farm Fusion cores, Mods and level up my gear

It's not that it's not enjoyable, it's that it's not enjoyable after the 500th time you do it.

Where do you get it? I'm like a Warframe noob. I've barely played it. I love the overcharge mod though. It looks so awesome with PhysX turned on...

Warframe seems very boring at the start and you dont understand how people can play so much of it, but when you start getting good and getting good stuff its alot more fun, its so satisfying getting new frames, especially your first, because it takes alot of work for your first warframe, other than your starter, and you feel like a god sometimes with your soma when newbies are asking what your gun is because it is sooo OP. I reccomend it 100% for people who want a different style of MMO with lots of really cool game mechanics and features. BTW ill add you pixxie

too true, i only need 6 more normal Warframes and 1 more sentinel then i have everything within the hard to get area.

Im doing ALLOT of Derelict void's at the moment. Trying to get Necros but im loving Valkyr :3 

Also maxing ALL my mods and forma'ing everything to make sure i get full use out of all my gear

The games good but there was nothing there to keep me invested, after doing 20 planets of the exact same missions I started to get really tired of it. I've come back after every major patch, tried a new mission, try a new warframe and the quickly remember why I uninstalled it the last time.

 

It is quite possibly the most repetitive game I've ever played.
