since he wants upgradability I'd say he should rather go with a single 4 gig and just buy another later.

I agree. Budget's just a bit tight. Doable though.

Yea, well a few extra bucks now and he'll remain in the budget and save himself from having to sit with 2x useless pieces of ram once he feels the urge to upgrade to 8 gb so yea, he really ought to cough up the little bit extra.

SWEET xD D:

haha yea.

It's good enough, but if you can find some kingstons for cheaper, my 1333s OC to 1600 like it was nothing, keeping the latency the same as well. I'd recommend this, it's cheaper. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/kingston-memory-khx16c9b1r4

or http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/kingston-memory-khx13c9b1r4

Edit: The reason I don't recommend going for Adata memory is because they push them to the max from factory settings so they have little headroom for overclocks while kingston leaves headroom to go up at least one notch. (1333MHz Kingstons are actually underclocked 1600s if that explains it better)

In my  opium the fm2 motherboards and cpu/gpu is suppose to use them so you don't need to use a dedicated graphics card but still be able to fit into a lower budget but still have the upgradability of your system   and at the budget that your friend has the amd apu build is ideal for now  My suggestion is
