Hi guys!

I sitting here about to buy a new graphics card, and im considering wether or not it would be worth it, to buy a 1080 instead of the 1070 i was about to buy.

I was a bout to buy a Gainward gtx 1070 GLH, and its only 70 bucks more to buy a MSI gtx 1080 Armor OC.

The clock speeds look the same, and i was thinking if it would be a big enough difference if i bought the 1080 instead.

Thanks in advance!

1080 is quite a jump for $70 - but, what resolution are you playing at and what CPU do you have?

depends on the game and resolution

hence why I said what resolution ... game not really

Around 20% faster at 1440P for less than (approx) extra 16% outlaw - assuming the 1070 is $430 and the 1080 is $500

I play at 1920x1080 and 144hz

And i have a i7 3770K

1080 is upto around 25% faster at 1080P in some games, but it's not really a 1080P card - if you think you may go 1440P in the near future its worth it, but its a little overkill for 1080P gaming, 1070 is plenty
