My country is also contributing :]

So, is this 'folding' a biological version of SETI@home?

SETI looks for Aliens, F@H looks for protein foldings to help cure a couple diseases. The only thing they have in common is the reliance on people's computers to do the job; they're not even on the same platform (BOINC), F@H uses a separate client.

Hmmm... does it mean that if one wants to run both SETI@home and Folding@home at the same time, one should install both clients?

Yes, you'd have to install BOINC (and attatch to SETI) as well as the F@H client. You'd also need to set each one so that they don't fight for resources; say, disable CPU crunching for F@H so that SETI can have it and disable GPU crunching for SETI so that F@H can have it.

I wish they would update the map because this one is very old

Yes it is. Yes they do.

Thing is they just recently posted that map on the site. I was disappointed when I saw the date on it. At first I thought it was the new one but....yeah. I guess it took the guy like 6 months or so to put that map together.
