I can just take two normal SLI bridges to makes an HB bridge right? Is there any advantage to running a HB bridge over normal the normal single SLI cable?

The HB Bridge does nothing at 1080p, but SLI FPS will increase slightly at 1440 and even more at 2160 and higher.  Most newer Asus motherboards are now shipping with the cheaper Asus HB Bridge.
