Windows 10 won't install

Go to solution Solved by ProjectBox153,

Sounds like the system is rebooting to the installation media. Make sure it's not set to boot before the hard drive.

Hello!

I have been trying to install Windows 10, but it won't do so. Everything ok until the installation has gone to 100% after that the installation media boots again and I have to put the product key again and repeat everything again.

What could be the problem?

Thank you!

PC specs:

i5 650 @ 3.20 GHz

GT 420

6 GB RAM

To elaborate, you need to Goto your bios settings, find 'boot order' or something like that, and change the boot media from USB to the HDD which you installed Windows 10 on

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

Thanks. I'm used to myself.

A lot of new PC's boot into the HDD after installation automatically, but some old PC's does not. Just go to the BIOS, and change the boot order.

When it reboots you need to unplug the USB drive or spam delete to get into the BIOS and then remove the USB drive from the boot order.

You don't need to do the whole installation again, there should be a button on the bottom right corner that will let you exit the installation and restart/shutdown.
