A couple of days ago my PC scren suddenly turned black while playing minecraft, but then it came back. Kinda like when the Nvidia driver crashes. some time after that it bluescreened, and after that its been stuck in a boot loop.

By bootloop i mean it posts, then it starts loading windows but crashes when the logo is about done with its spinning thing. This continues to be the problem even though ive reinstalled windows.

Ive tried everything i can think of; various BIOS options and windows recovery, ive updated to the latest BIOS version.

Thinking Windows might be the problem, i used a diffrent PC and did a clean format and install of that, worked fine on the other Pc but not in mine.

So today i started removing one and one component so see what the problem was. The GPU was the first to go, still the same problem. Then i tried some known good ram, still didnt work. After doung some research i was left with CPU, mobo and PSU. From what ive read, if it was the mobo or CPU the PC wouldnt post at all. So with this information, i went out and bought a new CX600 PSU, wich doesnt worth either.

Any suggestions are very much welcome, i would love it if i didnt have to buy a new pc....

Glad to see you've tried a variety of troubleshooting steps but I can feel your pain.

Have you tried replacing the motherboard battery?

Just to confirm - plugging the same drive into another PC works just fine and you've tried swapping out the RAM (Also using only 1 stick?)?

I edit my posts a lot.

I havent tried replacing it, but ive removed it, waited 30min and reinserted it several times.

The drive works just fine in a diffrent PC.

Ive tried with one and one stick, and with diffrent ram, still had the same problem. Also tried using diffrent slots, same results.

Im currently doing a memtest86 on the ram just to make sure its not the problem

@SetrixNo, it wouldn't. I would suggest plugging in whatever device you have your OS on, turn on another computer, then after it's on plug it into the other computer, and check the crashdump file.

Motivation is where, and what you make of it.

“It is relatively unusual that a physical scientist is truly an atheist. Why is this true? Some point to the anthropic constraints, the remarkable fine tuning of the universe. For example, Freeman Dyson, a Princeton faculty member, has said, ‘Nature has been kinder to us that we had any right to expect.'”  Albert Einstein

I cant find that stupid crashdump file.

I just tried installing linux, and about a minute into the installation i got this error. I cant imagine its the drive, seeing as Windows works fine on my other computer and its only about 2 months old.

@Setrix have you tried to completely format your HDD? Or you just simply installed the windows over the one you already had installed?
