RX 480 4GB or 1060 3GB ? No, I cant save anymore. same Price

RX 480 is better then 1060 not only because of the 1GB more VRAM. In my opinion take the RX 480 4GB :D

I would go with the 1060. I am a bit of an Nvidia fanboy, but you also get stuff like Shadowplay with Nvidia cards.

The FPS difference across the two is negligible, and with more VRAM and better DX12 support the RX480 will really shine as time goes on.

I personally bought the GTX 960 2GB over the R9 280 3GB, and I feel now that would have been a better choice, if only for the extra gigabyte of VRAM.

Generally both of the cards are equally powerful, but honestly I think the obvious answer should be the RX 480.

As mentioned by few above the RX 480 has an extra GB VRAM, which gets more important every year.

Not just that but it's better in DX12 titles, such as DOOM and some other new titles.

In DX11 it trades blows with the 1060.

The 480 will last you longer in terms of VRAM demanding titles.

My vote is the RX 480.

Most of the games give more FPS on 1060 but that 1 GB of VRAM willl be useful as I dont plan to upgrade for at laest 3 years

According to game tests here you're wrong.
