Should I switch to IPS?

The primary benefit will be seen in Photoshop and other photo editing tools. Also, games will look a lot better on IPS. Lastly, the IPS panel will be much less harsh on eyes due to less glare

Is it worth it buying a whole new monitor that is IPS instead of TN? I usually don't tend to look at my monitor at extreme angles. Are there any other benefits of IPS? (All this assuming that the resolutions are kept the same)

Yes. The colors are generally a lot better.

colours are a lot better and as long as your are staying at 1080p 60hz there not to expensive if you want to go 1440p or 144hz they get very expensive very fast

Colors are subjective, just like worth is ;)

To me, yes. However I also refuse to use HDDs and buy $1,500 coats. So. *shrug* Worth is something you have to decide on your own.
