which gtx 1070 ?

hello everyone,

 

i want to buy a new 1070 (upgrading from a 760), but cant decide which one i should buy.

I take my pc with me on long trips (1500km per year).

The card will be overclocked

 

evga 1070 ftw hybride 8gb 2x8pin (398,00€) 

kfa2(galax) 1070 ex 8gb 6pin+8pin (406,99€)

zotac 1070 amp extreme 8gb 2x8pin (479,00€)

 

(or should i wait for newer gpus ?)

if you're moving your PC around a lot surely you'd want an itx build?

evga is the best out of your lineup but i agree with the others the asus strix is amongst the best

you could go with the asus dual model or the evga hybrid model as for if the strix is worth it just depends on budget

they just sold the last evga ftw from where i wanted to buy it.

i have the GTX 1070 strix, it keeps so cool, and also very quiet while full load. I even was able to get my OC to over 2150Mhz

How bout an EVGA SSC.

The only difference between the SSC and the FTW is a slightly lower factory OC, and no RGB leds

the sc is 444,00€, but has worse cooling than the strix

EVGA 1070 Superclocked or FTW, as EVGA has really good customer service, and I like the way their cards look when installed.  For the bling factor, the FTW or FTW2 are the way to go.

I have a STRIX 1080 and it's a beast. Go with the Strix. If you don't want that, get the EVGA.
