What were you doing? Was it idle? If so you may have a chance but i would say it is dead

Don't have a cooler, planned on using the cooler I had in my dell but I can't get the mounting brackets off of the board

I've had a 3820 die on me because it didn't turn off when I forgot the thermal paste when it started to boot Windows.
