Build for a friend, $500 budget

Mooshi

So a friend asked for assistance in how to put together a nice pc for $500. Problem is, she only has a mouse and thaaaaat's it. Her current computer is a potato laptop and it's hard to fit a monitor and keyboard into this as I'm already at the limit with what seems like a decent build.

Any suggestions for a decent gaming build that includes monitor and keyboard that is close to this? https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Mooshi/saved/2DpWZL

If shes not thinking of upgrading the computer in the future id go for 2x4 in ram instead.
The rest looks good.

You can downgrade to a pentium but i wouldn't recommend it, you can get a $14 KB or use an old one from an old computer :)

Check if a H110 board has Kaby Lake support, iirc AsRock's low end implementations have support for the g4560.

otherwise, go used! pick up an i5 2400 and a cheap board, and maybe a 1050Ti and a S12ii since that isn't a firebomb

idk

The CXM 450 isn't a firebomb, it's the new and improved one, the cx(m) 430 was the bad one :)
