Hi guys,

I have 16gb of Corsair Vengeance RAM installed in my build (1600mhz, 10-10-10-27), 2 x 8gb Dimms.

I managed to overclock a single stick to 2133mhz, 9-10-9-27, but with 2 sticks I can't get them stable at all.

I have a 4770k which is 4.2ghz.

I appreciate the feedback,

Matt

Vengeance RAM doesn't really overclock well, and the major instability you're risking really doesn't warrant the tiny to no performance increase you'll yield. So my advice is just to run on X.M.P and focus your overclocking efforts on your GPU and CPU.

Ok. I will give it another try as, it could be that the CPU overclock is limiting the OC headroom of the RAM.

Yes, that's very possible. But once again a CPU overclock will yield much more performance than a RAM overclock. So I wouldn't compromise on the CPU to push the RAM further. Maybe start with 1866mhz and see where that gets you.

Also be careful with your signature, only up to 3 lines are permitted here ;) what you have going on there might get you a warning from an admin.

Ah ok. I shall adjust it now, I didn't realise.

Trying to get in on that BF4 RAM performance increase? Yesterday I managed to get my Ram to 2400Mhz. The thing is if you bought a 1600Mhz kit you most likely can only go up to 1866. Your kit isnt rated to go that high. Originally I had a Vengeance Pro 2133Mhz kit with my i7 4770k @ 4.7Ghz 1.425v and I managed to get 2400Mhz on the Ram. I think Vengeance Pros overclock better though than the regular vengeance.
