Any ideas what to do with extra laptop?

So I have ThinkPad T400s laying around, it was great for just basic web surfing,netlix etc. and occasional runescapexD. I now have new one so there is no use for this laptop.

 

Do you have ideas what I could do with it?

Get a Linux distribution with KODI. Now you have a media center.

I would want to try that, is there any guide you could link? I played with linux sometime ago, but i had no idea what i was doing...
