My PC just randomly shuts down. In a previous forum post of mine, we determined it must be the power supply -- this is because when it turns off EVERYTHING turns off, even the LEDs. I took the old power supply out (which was some ghetto and cheap piece of crap that my friend put in when it was his.) and put a new Antec 450W PSU in it. The thing still turns itself off under light load. It isn't a cooling issue -- the PC doesn't even get hot it stays at about 36 degrees C, which is NOTHING. What is the problem with this thing?

I'm guessing it's the motherboard, I have no idea what else would be causing this problem.

Nothing is overheating, I promise that. It's been dusted and it's cooling just fine. I have no clue what the issue is with this thing.

Possibly, would that really cause the entire PC to shut down though?

it can do if they're isn't enough memory to compensate for the actions going on, if you have 1 ram stick this might be worth looking into otherwise you should be fine with any other amount and you're problem lies elsewhere
