I will be putting together a high end gaming pc in the coming weeks and would like everyone's input on my chosen parts. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/vengien/saved/npzGXL

I'd drop the RAM back down to 16GB.

I'd drop one of the SSDs and/or drop some ram and get a 1080Ti

(Plus a slightly stronger PSU if you intend to overclock)

Speaking from experience, the SP120 RGB Fans suck.

they push air pretty well, but their RGB is limited to 7 colors, with 3 modes.

plus, there is no software control at all.

the HD120 fans on the other hand can be controlled by software if you buy a corsair lighting node pro.

or you can just get a HUE+, and AER RGB fans

In all seriousness though, considering how high you're going just get trident z rgb ram. It looks baller. And might as well get a 750w psu just cause.

And it seems like you're only gonna be gaming. In which case you don't need 960 evos. An 850 evo loads games and boots up as fast as it. It's only when doing large file transfers that you'll notice a difference.

Oh, and do yourself a favor and wait a week and just get a 1080 ti.

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Here, still has great parts. The Mx300 is fast enough for your larger items, and the 960evo will make your OS and most used games super snappy. The 1080ti is coming rather soon and with an msrp of 700 for TitanXP performance its a no brainer for such high refresh.

Thanks for replying guys, it's not my first build but it's my first non budget build as a new job after graduating made money non issue. I really don't have a tight budget so a lot of things I can ether add a little extra cash for or if it's not beneficial change it out and save some cash.. I just want a system that won't leave me wanting for more for a few years.. I'm taking any input u guys give me and considering it all..

How do these modifications to the original part list look? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/GVKghq

also if anyone has any recommendations as far as water coolers go I'm open to suggestions. I've never messed with it so I'd prefer and AIO but I'm not fully against custom loop if there is that much of a difference performance wise..
