Building a part list for my friend.

Budget: 800$ USD (prices being used are Amazon and Newegg)

Customer is using their cash and insists on using the sites she has personally used in the past.

(not to mention free two day shipping obviously)

Spoiler

Background:

What she wants her computer to be:
Quieter than my 750D with 4 100% AF140L fans (2 in front as intake, one in rear for exhaust, one in mid as intake)
(link for "tech specs" http://www.corsair.com/en-us/corsair-fan-af140l-1000-rpm-67-43-cfm-140mm-x-25mm-single )

Tiny case (she has said a cube is okay) or Extra Tall case, she stated she does not want a average sized ordinary looking case. (Think HP tower)

Their Setup:
Their monitor(s): One at the moment and pretty sure HDMI.. she has a pre-built and don't know her specs at all. (either 30Hz or 60Hz not sure)
Their speakers: None. Headset only., 3.5mm.
Their keyboard: Not PS/2
Network needs: Just ethernet coming in, she doesn't connect to a NAS, printer/scanner, a Smart TV or anything.

Spoiler

What she does:

What she plays: Minecraft, YouTube videos, iTunes, Borderlands 2. Stardew Valley, Forget Me Not: My Organic Garden, and Sakura Clicker (those are the only games she has on Steam above 20hrs..)  (she mainly just reads Fanfics, and plays Minecrafts and Youtube videos.)

What she would like to play: Crysis 3 (no puns), GTA V, BioShock Infinite, FarCry series, Stranded Deep.

An optical drive for old DVDs she has.

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/CODEMaster00/saved/#view=xfdt6h

That build makes me happy since one less wire to run, but still changing the fans out will be a tad tedious but should not make too much difference (if any) for cable management.

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/CODEMaster00/saved/#view=PFZjXL

This build sacrifices quieter fans and causes 1 extra cable to run for only 1GB more VRAM and has 0.09 more Ghz on base clock speeds

Spoiler

The useless what I want for her computer section:

LGA1151 Socket for easy upgrade path.

Would prefer not needing more power than what the PCI-E slot can provide just for aesthetic/airflow.

This would be MUCH better...the case you'Ve selected is a full sized case...this is the microATX version of it...it has a 120GB SSD for windows and programs...and a mass storage drive.."RX 480...ALSO this CPU is MUCH better it has hyper-threading so it's basically a core i3 for 60$

I'll just edit the post since the first sentence mentioning Amazon and Newegg wasn't blatant enough..

What is the difference in the motherboard you have and the https://pcpartpicker.com/product/BfvZxr/asus-h110m-em2-micro-atx-lga1151-motherboard-h110m-em2 that I have listed?

Thanks for the 240 Case mention though, will ask which she would prefer.

it's worth it to go seek the pentium G4560 ELSEWHERE as it's a MUCH better processor that cost the same...

for motherboard...i don't know...they have the same features.

Great ITX build, is there a point of paying 132~ for an OS on a thumb drive vs. a CD when the build already has a optical drive..

Also does that case have a fan?

Windows 10 OEM licenses, according to Microsoft, are not for DIY builds. One is supposed to purchase a full license.

Two 120mm fans and space for a third. http://www.silverstonetek.com/raven/products/index.php?model=RVZ01

Why that card compared to https://pcpartpicker.com/product/pbL7YJ/evga-geforce-gtx-1060-6gb-gaming-video-card-06g-p4-6161-kr ?

That 1060 has 2GB more memory, 0.46GHz faster on core clock, has lower TDP, is shorter and has same ports, Is there an advantage to the radeon card that was overlooked?

Edit: misspelled advantage.

Ah okay, I don't mean to treat you like google here but .. is the only reason why they are not for DIY builds because MS Support tells you to contact your OEM when using the disk?

You would have to ask Microsoft why they changed the licensing. Prior to Windows 8.1 OEM licenses could be used for DIY. There are two possibilities that come to mind. My first and cynical thought is that MS wants to improve its bottom line. But it is also possible that it ends up having to provide support for DIY builds.
