This is actually something I'm rather unfamiliar with, and I would really appreciate input. I am in the process of building a computer, and I know me and my girlfriend are going to be using it. One of the uses that she is going to have for it is voice recording. Besides a good microphone, is there any other hardware that I should be looking into that would really help the quality work she would be doing? If so, what should I be looking for in this equipment?

Depends. What mic is she using?

you can record voice on almost anything hardware wise.

What mic?

Normally you get something like a usb mixer to connect it to a pc.

To be honest, I'm really unfamiliar with this area, and that's why I'm reaching out for advice. Again, I'd really appreciate advice and ideas as far as what to look for. I don't mind spending a few extra bucks for a quality product that is going to last longer and do a better job.
