Well, my thoughts are "When?" It's been known already, we wanna know when the optimizations will come...

You'd think the smarter way to launch would be to have it optimized for launch, not handing it out after.

Thing is that in this sort of industry, secrets are a big thing (Look at apple and how successful they've been even though they are one of the most secretive companies in the world).

 

AMD Didn't want leaks simple as that they didn't want Intel to drop a bomb before Ryzen was released. So I can see why AMD has gone this route for Ryzen.

 

The industry can adapt very quickly to new products so I wouldn't worry about this too much.
