My screen is messed up.

So I'm still in high school right and I got my laptop in my back with all my other books and stuff in it and they're squishing my laptop's screen (because it's got terribly build quality). After a little while a small line appeared in the middle of my screen, but it would go away after like 1 minute so I ignored it. It's now 3 months later and it has grown to a massive line of pixels down the middle of my screen, as you can see in the very bad photo. Apart from taking it to be fixed is there any way to fix this.

Extra information if it's needed I guess - If I push with any level of force (which I do know is bad) the line becomes 100% solid.

Sorry Mate, I think there isn't much to be done, that kind of damage is usually permanent or cheaper to just replace the screen. Maybe buy a laptop bag to stop it happening again.

Damn. The laptops like 4 years old anyways. Might just get a new one once I get some money.
