Well, got my Barrow fittings today to check out quality and all I can say is that they will be my fitting for my up coming build. Here are some pictures for the fittings.

Well I ordered all of my fittings. Tuesday I will order the rest of my water cooling supplies and my CPU and mobo.

Well I bought my Motherboard. I shall receive it sometime this week.

Well ordered my CPU and ram today, Should have that by the end of the week then I can spam this with post with pictures. Only things I need to do yet is buy my water cooling parts and my build will be done.

Did you change for the x99 mobo to a x270 because of the m.2 Intel's new optane drive?

No I did not change, I will not be using a M.2 drive only because I can run 2 SSDs in RAID 0 for 1 GBps and that is fast enough for me anyways.

Got my CPU, Mobo and RAM today. Will post pictures tomorrow sometime to show it off. Also Will be looking at what Rads to order for the build that I now have my mobo.

Very nice!!  I just did my first build and used 98% EK fittings.  I can say I wont use them again.  I had to use 2 Alpha Cool fittings as I was short (poor planning) and they are a WAY nicer fitting than EK.  I also used some bits power nipples and they are also, IMHO nicer than EK.  And not just by a little bit either.  EK fittings felt very cheap over all in comparison to both Alpha Cool and Bitspower.  So good choice in going with something other than EK on the fittings.

Yeah I had some experience with EK fittings and they werent that nice. I bought a couple different brands of fittings and the nicest one for how cheap they were was Barrow (thanks to @KeepItCool for showing me those fittings). I would recommend to anyone to use Barrow fittings.

Here are some pictures as promised of my parts so far. The photos are taken on my HTC One M8 so they are not the best but can still see what is in the photos. Should be ordering my Water cooling supplies here shortly, ran into an issue that needed that money somewhere else. Also, I might be adding in another Rad to my build so I will have 2 420mm (2 140mm fans) and also a 480mm Rad (if it all works out right).

Yupp, Fitting are super nice and I like how they have 3 O-rings compared to everyone else with 2. They also feel much better than EK but similar to Bitspower fittings but better since tubing goes farther down with the Barrow and has that extra O-ring inside. Thank you for showing me these fittings.

Well I would like to present you with a Firestrike score so you know I am still here and still building. Got my watercooling parts Friday (still need a waterblock for my CPU but havent decided what I want yet). Also, waiting to order my Noctua fans and some more coolant since I do not think I have enough. Currently have my CPU on my Swiftech H240-X to try out and see my temp plus OC a little.

Well, ordered my mono block from EK for my Asus board and I should get that sometime this week along with some more tubing and fluid with my Noctua fans. Hopefully some time this weekend since its my weekend off of work I will be able to put this computer together and show you all my finished product I have.

Well started the building and ran into an issue. The EVGA GTX 1080 FTW Hydro Copper block does not work on the EVGA GTX 1080 FTW air cooling card, so now I have to wait to order a new block and figure out what to do with that block I have now. Kinda upset about it. So I will be ordering a EK waterblock.

Also more good news is that I bought two SSDs for for another RAID 0 for some steam games. Got two ADATA Ultimate SU800 512GB drives. Hopefully they will be good as this will be the first time using ADATA as a company. I will post some pictures of them when I get them in. Most likely will be Friday.

Check the the latest ekwb`1080ti block looks dope but no sure if its compatible with the 1080. If its compatible might as well get that.

Wow the 4k write. That really effects transfer speed when moving large file. Impressive I didn't know adata have 3d nand SSD which I recall is something like Samsung v nand right ?.

well ADATA is using Micron's 3D Nand flash, same thing that is in the Curcial MX300 (Micron owns Crucial just so you know) and is using the Marvell's controller I do believe.

Well the project is almost done now. Still have to get a few more fans and a new fan controller. The two fan controller that comes with my case really sucks since it makes my fans run at full speed and I cannot adjust them with my motherboard. Also, I have to get two more sata connectors since I added those two Adata 512GB SSDs into my system. Just have to get the time to take some nice glamour shots of the case when I am all done buying my little things I need. So here is the featured build so far.

That's looking really good  Love black and white builds - so clean and crisp...

 

Also, really nice hard pipe work, especially seeing as you said it was your first time
