Looking for a good 500W PSU

EST_FatBoy
Go to solution Solved by HeathCliff,

I am going to buy a GTX 760 in December but I also need a 500W PSU. GTX 760 needs two 6 pin connectors.

I know its not good to get cheap PSU's but yeah... Kinda need a cheap one.

Also my PCI slot is 2.0 and 760 needs 3.0 but I heard that there is a little bandwidth difference, is that true?

This is my mobo: http://ark.intel.com/products/42700/Intel-BD82H57-PCH

Corsair CX500M will be the best option if you just need something reliable and cheap. Or wait for a bit for the new CS550M with is 80+ Gold.

This looks good to me and the price is 56€ in Estonia. Thanks!

Now I just need to find a buyer for my GTX 550Ti.

http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=85625&vpn=100-B1-0500-KR&manufacture=eVGA&promoid=1401 I got this for 30$ and I suspect that it's pretty good although it does have a very slight coil whine which is weird for me because I've never owned a component with coil whine but it's in my HTPC so its fine.

Why do you always die right after I fix you?
