I already have a modem that connect to the router, which is in a far room, and what i would like to try to do is to split the coax signal so it still connects to the modem and router, and have it run over to my PC

run ethernet or get another modem(not sure if this works you have to ask you cable provider)

your two options are a) pay for service to a second modem from your cable company, or b) get a pair of MoCA adaptors. MoCA is like powerline except over coax.

If you want to use your coax cable to run ethernet to your PC for example ypu're going to need one of these: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1172333-REG/actiontec_ecb2500c02_ecb2500c_moca_ethernet_to.html It supports up to 175 Mbit/s speeds.

This is a good example of a MoCA adaptor, and frankly is the only model that is easy to find for sale.

Looking to buy GTX690, other multi-GPU cards, or single-slot graphics cards:

yea would probably be more cost effective to just run an ethernet to the new computer and you would probably have less latency

Is there anyway to convert a coax cable to ethernet cable so I can connect it to my PC?

What you want are MOCA 2.0 adapters. The easy thing about them, there only made by Actiontec. Im not sure when, but they are releasing updated version of MOCA that can do faster speeds. Just need to make sure if that coax is used by your cable company that you have a MOCA filter on the line and MOCA compatible spliters. Make sure the run end to end is no more than 300 feet as any further can cause issues.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
