Hello

 

So i have a MSI ge72 which i think runs pretty hot and i think this is throtteling my fps. (else this laptop just sucks, im not able to run games such as overwatch on low).

Here is a screenshot of my temps taken at idle+ some more. (nvidia inspector and msi afterburner)

Could there be a reason for these temps? (except for the obvious dust buildup in the cooling)

Can you show GPU temps? All you showed was CPU temps, which were totally fine.

-cant i void warranty? i've done this with old laptops but didn't want to risk warranty with this one

-i cant find a utility called xmp, i can only find some stuff about memory profiles? Do you mean Extreme Tuning Utility?

So you can't run overwatch at 1080p low settings?

58°c at idle with nothing runing is ok? oh :P i assumed it was way to hot. (compared to desktop temps)

Nope i cant run overwatch and most other games i play is at all low settings and a res lower than 1080, and i hate it since this shit costed 1300euro

i bought this 1.5y ago so i dont think im able to return it? Yeah i didnt really do alot of research about it which was quite stupid.

I just tried it on some free weekend, i dont actualy own the game. And i probably wont buy anymore games until i have a decent desktop.
