On my old rig I had enough room to fit the silver metal piece between the case and mobo, I can't get this Msi gtx970 to fit in my Msi mortar mobo seems there is something obstructing it. Any help? It seems like the piece is too long, can I ten it off :?

@Mr.Meerkat It's supposed to go between mobo and case no :?

Ye, are you sure it's not something with the case or the motherboard being badly mounted? :D
