Ryzen Worth the Upgrade?

So with the new Ryzen lineup coming out March 2nd it got me wondering if it would be worth upgrading to. Particularly the 1800x. What I have right now is a FX-8350. Would i get a big performance boost gaming wise if i upgrade to it or would i only see a small difference in the end? Also what type of performance will I gain? Also when upgrading to Ryzen I'll be getting an AM4 mobo and 16gb of ddr4 ram. Currently i have ddr3.

I don't recommend an 1800x but rather a 1700x or 1700, but yes, you will see at least a 40% boost in single threaded performance
