A program of mine wont even open.

What do I do when a program wont even open?

In this case its an old game (San Andreas) and i wanted to see how it runs on my new pc.

So I double click the game icon but it wont even open. I see that the little loading circle on the mouse appears but it doesnt open.

Ive tried running as admin, troubleshooting mode and even reinstalling it.

Any recommendations m8z?

Not really xd.

LTT is kinda my support.

Ive tried asking on a forum from that game but doesnt seem like its very active.

Might u know if I have my gpu driver installed?

Idk if this is it but when I right clic desktop it says "AMD Radeon Settings".

So it's a torrent version I assume? Have it been verified that the game works before? Or did you get it from Steam as in launching the game from steam and it doesn't work.

Its actually from mega.nz  but its not a original version i guess. I installed it the same way on my old computer and it seemed fine, idk if something on my new computer is missing tbh.

All the video drivers are updated as well.

Hmm. Were both the PC using the same version of Windows? I have a very old game in the past that will only runs on Windows XP but not my current Windows 10 (They have since fixed it). Maybe it's something in the same situation? Just saying.

You mean both is running on Windows 10? If that is the case, then I'm sorry that I might not be able to help you on it.

Oh sorry, I didnt read the message very well. The older computer had windows 7, this  one has windows 10

Oh ... Then that might be the case? I'm just assuming here, not confirming. You can try to google it online to see if other users are having the same issue when installed and play on Windows 10. If yes, then you might need to either wait for a fix (that might or might not come) or get another computer (be it laptop or what, assuming you only have 1 PC now) to install Windows 7 and game on it.

I solved the problem, but now I have another. When I open the game it changes my window's resolution untill i close it again. I supports only up to 1050p, along with other games for some reason. Do you know why this is?

Resolution I believed is software / game based. Meaning that when they make the game, they didn't include the resolution in then you will not be able to play on that resolution. Not sure if there are any ways around it thou.

I dont really mind that the game doesnt support 1080 but is there any way  to avoid my windows resolution being changed as well?

There is no way to go around that unless you play in Windows mode. Check if the game supports it (regardless window mode or full screen window mode). That is why I scale down my monitor from 4K to 1080 as I using 3 monitors now and only 1 of them supports 4K (funny but that is not my main monitor).

Yeah, Ive alwayes played that game in window mode, but I always had to hit Alt+Enter and kinda was annoying, but whateva ill just keep it that way. Thank u for ur help bro!
