First PC Build, RGB Issues

I'm very new to pc building, and am planning my first build now. I plan to use a Strix z270f and with the Phanteks p400 tempered glass. I also have a strix graphics card (RGB), and was planning to use 2 RGB strips and some Geil Evo X ram. The issue is that I would need more than 2 4-pin rgb headers on my motherboard and im wondering if there is anyway that you could have more? I have seen multiple builds on youtube where they have tons more RGB things and they still are synced together.

Those builds are likely using NZXT Hue+s

If you only have 2 strips why do you need more than 2 RGB headers? You don't plug the RAM or GPU into them.

I know the GPU dosen't need to be plugged in, but according to the internet you have to plug the ram in.

Well the p400 has an rgb controller built in. But you can also connect to the motherboard as well. So if you do run out of headers just remember the case itself has a built in controller.

Never seen RAM that uses an RGB header.

Yes you plug the RAM into the motherboard, but you don't need to plug the RAM into the RGB Header.

It doesn't, I double checked. He only needs 1 header (2 if he doesn't put the strips consecutively).

 

Edit: I triple checked and it does... That's very weird.

@Rob Ludgin You will need a 4-pin splitter, or get something like the Hue+

4Pin splitter is probably the cheapest option
