Good afternoon,

I am looking at building my own PC (first timer) and was wondering if you guys could put something together for me using the UK PCPartPicker.

Requirements:

  • I ideally need two monitors as I'll be doing work from home and I am so used to two that only one would be a pain
  • I am looking at starting gaming on the PC but this isn't a massive concern at present (the ability to upgrade would be helpful though)
  • I currently use my laptop for the following:
    • Sublime
    • Microsoft Office
    • Football Manager 2017
    • Web browsing, YouTube and the sorts
  • Budget isn't massive but possibly around £750 if possible. I know that the monitors don't help here :(

Any help and advice would be massive and fully appreciated. Thanks in advance. If I've left anything out, please let me know!

Yep, dual monitor + decent machine with 750 pounds is gonna have to massively sacrifice something.

h110 mobos are crap and yes 20 bucks more for slightly faster processor, better mobo and a faster ram is worth it

He can OC the Ram. The 200 Mhz difference is going to make minimal difference, OCing his RAM and saving his money will offer a higher increase in performance and H110 mobo's aren't meant to be good. Neither are B250/B150 boards. Fuck, they're supposed to be lower end than H boards last I checked, just recently have manufactures decided to start making them look like their Z series counterparts. Anyways, the difference between the fuck ton of low end boards is marginal. Minor differences here and there that unless you're looking for a specific thing, no need to do it. Spend that 25 pounds on a nice game.
