Fraps vs NVIDIA's ShadowPlay

Ozpa

I have done some personal tests. And I can confirm that Shadowplay is far better than FRAPS in every way. Unless you have the money to buy some recording hardware. If you have AMD you will have to go with FRAPS.

Shadowplay is amazing, it records at 1080p 60fps with a 3-5 fps loss.  They recently updated it so that you can change the bitrate and fps.  Also, you can have it set to always record, and when you push a button, it will save the last 5 mintues (or whatever you set it to).  Only downside is that it only supports directx games right now.

I made a video comparing FRAPS and Shadowplay with a GTX 770 card. Shadowplay is part of the reason I decided to upgrade from my SLI 560Ti cards, and it was well worth it.
