Need for network solution

I have a nvg 510 and it hasn't been doing what I need anymore but I'm on a college student budget ant suggestions to get the best bang for my buck and steady use through a lot of devices

Depending on how comfortable you are with hardware and networking a pfsense router built out of an old tower pc and a used Intel dual or quad gigabit nic will handle anything you can throw at it.  If you need WiFi you can also pick up a ubiquiti access point for ~$50 on amazon.
