Overpriced craigslist ads (RANT)

hardtofindinthefuture

Yea, the St. Louis region just has horrible tech deals and then too many nerds who think they'll get so much for so little. I usually avoid listing computer parts for sale on craigslist here, for example, I just recently listed my ROG for $550, kind of expecting somebody to ask for $450. I'd say that's a decent price for the hardware, but I kept getting offers around $300. Ended up just taking it off and offering it to my friend for $400, who then admitted it was a fantastic deal.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

Yea that's pretty close.

Funnily enough, though, I didn't actually live in St. Charles County, I usually just use it as my location because I'm willing to meet there and more people know it than they do Lincoln County. I still go to college out at SCC, haha.

For the first picture, they are fast I have two running as my servers doing CAD rendering and a whole load of other stuff, such as home surveillance, etc.

For the second one: I get triggered when people call these the USFF models. They're the SFF (Small Form Factor variants). They come even smaller.

Main System: Phobos

AMD Ryzen 7 2700 (8C/16T), ASRock B450 Steel Legend, 16GB G.SKILL Aegis DDR4 3000MHz, AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB (XFX), 960GB Crucial M500, 2TB Seagate BarraCuda, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations/macOS Catalina

Secondary System: York

Intel Core i7-2600 (4C/8T), ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3, 16GB GEIL Enhance Corsa DDR3 1600MHz, Zotac GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB, 240GB ADATA Ultimate SU650, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations

Older File Server: Yet to be named

Intel Pentium 4 HT (1C/2T), Intel D865GBF, 3GB DDR 400MHz, ATI Radeon HD 4650 1GB (HIS), 80GB WD Caviar, 320GB Hitachi Deskstar, Windows XP Pro SP3, Windows Server 2003 R2

Nope. Mine has a Pentium Dual Core with WinXP. Trust me, I know my Dell machines, especially the ones from that time. The 755 and the 780 (both of which I own, I might add) are the best machines from that time period outside of the early Core i machines.
