Storage/Backup Server

I have a computer that I would like to make into Storage/Backup Server I already have ubuntu server running on the computer. I would like to backup my whole computer every night at 12am or at least my important files. What's the best way to do this? Any good Programs out there for me to use

FOr basic backups windows backup and restore works well on windows and rsync works well on linux and dd can make images.

I have ubuntu server os on the server computer and Windows 10 on my computer that I would like to backup

yea ther are, but i like the windows one as its built in, you can restore from any install disk from the network

 

also veeam if you want a third party one,.
