EXP GDC Beast + MSI GTX 1050TI

Hi everyone,

 

I recently committed to getting the EXP GDC Beast eGPU dock to plug into my MSI GS70 2PE Stealth Pro. I'm quite new to these things and I'm a little lost. Originally it would only post to my laptop screen and not to the screen which is plugged into the HDMI on the eGPU. First, I got error code 43. At that time, the computer recognised my CPU, dGPU and the eGPU. After some attempts and modding the bios (which my friend helped me do) I am now in a situation where the 1050 TI is no longer recognised as what it is, but instead is recognised as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter. I cant install NVIDIA drivers and my laptop screen is also black. 

 

If anyone has any recommendations or anything I should try, I would love to hear it. Thanks in advance!
