Could adding network card on my pc lower my ping ?

I have one laying around , will it make less ping with it , motherboard is p8h67m lx ASUS

no, but it might mean that you get a higher max transfer speed, e.g. from 100mbps from your motherboard to 1gbps, that also being said not many people need more than 100mbps, there is exceptions, but if you motherboards old as fuck and only has a 10mbps connection that might bottleneck your system a lot so in that case, just chuck it in can't hurt. if you need more than 2 ports as well (I am one of those people who does, as I have two networks and online and an offline network (no connection to the internet)) then chuck the NIC in as well as you can use both the ones on the motherboard and on the NIC at the same time
