Recommended (e)books for security&cloud computing

Hi,

 

i really would like to get in to security & cloud computing(like vmware) but i dont know where to start.

 

Do you guys have any recommended books i could read and practice with things like vmware.

one thing you may want to do is just install their software(a lot of thier stuff has free versions or 60 day trails) on some machines if you have some spare ones and just screw around with them and then just google if you get stuck on something just to get a feel for it

If you want a job related to it then you need to focus on one of the two. Saying that you want to do security and cloud computing is like saying you want to play the french horn and become a surgeon.

 

With that being said, learning how to program will help you with both security and cloud computing.

If you ask me you should start by either learning C (because it's the foundation for a lot of other languages) or Python (because it's a really simple and easy to use language).
