D4 sensor is quite nice. And 16mp is better for older lenses and more forgiving than the d800.

Yeah really looking forward to a video with DIgitalRev on the new Nikon Df camera. The camera is good marketing towards those older photographers that want the old screws and buttons as they used to be before. Nikon has a very expensive price point on them and I dont think the camera body should cost more than a D800 because it has compromises like no video and a slow fps. If the camera is not a success Nikon is eventually going to lower the price or release a cheaper version of the camera with a D7100ish approach in spec and price range.

It really is a beautiful and cool looking camera indeed.
