That's thunderbolt 2, which is 20Gbps IIRC, which is PCIe Gen 2 X4. it's not enough bandwith.

You need to tell me twice :P I hate when that happens. It's hard to see why there would be much difference in them I mean they essentially just convert PCie standards.
