Me: I once killed fifty men

Other person: In the war?

Me: (without blinking for a whole minute then slowly turning to the lad).... Black.... Friday......

Other person: I'm sorry I asked.... (and he gets up and walks off)

How? I thought lower the response time meant more ghosting >_>

To most users, ghosting is only more apparent in 3D. I read an in-depth review of my monitor a few days ago and these pros were talking about the ghosting using trace free setting 100 which in my monitorr gives the most ghosting but fastest response. Honestly I can't see it. I also had my friend check with his 1ms panel at 100 trace free. Not very noticeable. There is a great sight to test all kinds of things. testufo.com I used this site to try and spot the ghosting. Neither of us considered it too distracting.

As a painter, I can see the flaws in a job...the crown not cut in straight, or a roller line, texture inconsistency; but to the non-pro, it looks amazing. I think the same thing is going on in these situations. Display pros can measure, test, calibrate and the works. A perfect display to them is not the same to the majority of us. I'd advise to use your own judgment. Fast panels arre amazing. My Crysis 3 gaming improved instanly with my new monitor. Turns noobs into average gamers, turns average gamers into MVPs.
