I was wondering how you guys feel about my theoretical build. It's meant for gaming. I'm planning on playing games such as csgo with good frame rates and more demanding games at decent frame rates.[PCPartPicker part list](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NvFcm8) /

Ima go with a no on almost everything, K CPU with a low end board, seagate drive, reference 480

You don't need to buy windows 10 to use and install it, if you were going to buy it don't get an OEM key

#1 wait a few weeks for Ryzen

#2, here ya go

Z270 board with G4560, the pentium will run most everything fine for 60hz gaming, and the idea here is to upgrade straight to the i7 7700K or revision with better TiM + probably a $100 240mm AIO

and the GTR is about the best 480 to buy

Could add an SSD, would delay upgrading to the i7 though

in addition wait for Ryzen lol

You can't overclock a "k" chip without a z170/270 board on lga 1151 cpus. Also its better to get the new kaby lake. i7-7600 non k in your case. I also second everyone saying wait for ryzen.

Unsure what power supply to pick?

Check out my HTPC build.

I've made a list that is way better for about $1,000 USD:

Feel free to refine it to your liking.

I am curious, what makes an i5 7600 + GTX 1060 "way better" than his i5 6600K + RX 480?  Your build costs over $100 more as well.
