AMD Laptop

Go to solution Solved by Pendragon,

It's fine. Performs similar to ULV cpus on intel's side. Slower in 1-2 threads as usual and faster than multithreaded.

The rx460 is similar to a 965m so basically a 1050. So it's okay. Price isn't bad either. This is definitely a region locked product.

Only thing is, in the US around 700 can get you a quad core intel chip + 960m or above. Overall performance will be the same because the AMD CPU will be running like a ULV chip so it'll slow down the rx460 mobile. So meh. It's just a very meh product. nothing special.

Hi,

I am not really familiar with AMD components.

On CPU benchmark  FX 9830P Seems like a good Laptop CPU.

But it doesn't show anything about the price vs performance.

I want to know if this is a good budget gaming machine.

I live in Korea so This maybe a Korean only model.

The price is 699,000won So roughly $700( a little less).
