Hey guys,

I'll get straight to the point:

budget: $2500 (usd)

need it for:  motion graphics, 3D rendering, video animation, editing, etc...(will use programs such as Cinema 4D, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)

Btw, I'd prefer Intel CPUs, WD 4TB internal hard drive, the new GTX 780ti video card, blu ray optical drive......   what would you guys recommend for all compatible components (please list everything with prices if possible)?

Thank you

Ehh so much money dude. I would have build 10 computers out of that :P

If you use more than one of those applications at once you are gonna make sure you have like 32gb of ram

And You might just need a gtx 780 if you were ok with that. Don't really need the extra power.

LGA2011 boards built prior to haswell-E only need a bios update then it works.

Still you have 8 sticks of RAM, but there are only 4 DIMM slots.

I'd get something like this instead, I've used the money better. Add more RAM if you need it.

SLI ready, replace all fans with the Corsairs.

If you get some nice sleeved cables you will have a great color scheme with grey motherboard and RAM, the white LED's on the fans will make it pop out and highlight the green LED on the GPU.

If you use more than one of those applications at once you are gonna make sure you have like 32gb of ram

16GB ram is fine for using multiple of the applications at once. 32GB is often not needed.

Do you need a copy of Windows?

What kind of work are you doing? Are you just studying or are you already working professionally?

Any examples of the scale of projects you're working on? Any primary focus of the work you're doing?
