Hey,

I was thinking about Ryzen and all of a sudden overclocking came to my mind and with that I pose my questions:

Can I overclockin without upping the voltage on the cpu?

If I can, is it worth it, and does it generate more heat, compared to stock speeds?

I think voltage will increase on it's own to some point.

My i7 4790k was using 1,1V when stress testing at stock settings. I went to BIOS and only changed multiplier to 45. Voltage went to 1,287V when stress testing. And I didn't touch that voltage at all.

I think same will be with Ryzen, because it will detect that frequency is higher and will auto increase voltage to be stable. But only to one point.

It will still increase your temps even if you don't touch voltage. And even if you set manual voltage (so BIOS won't increase it on it's own), temps will be higher.
