No, you would either need a Z97 or Z87 motherboard for that (Z87 motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using it with that chip though).

Keep in mind you need some good cooling too to achieve a good overclock.

Ok but does it support turbo boost im planning on to turbo boost it for a while until i get a decent one

Ik i want to turbo boost it for a while until i get a decent one but r u sure that it does support turbo boost becuase i didn't see that msi mentioned it in there website

you can't chagne turbo boost settings, It will be used automatically

Ik that i cant change the settings my question was r u sure that my mobo supports turbo boost technology cuz i dont wanna the cpu and then find out that my mobo cant turbo boost
