What happens when you try to open a game? What game?

Yours faithfully

hmm, any GPU artifacting or overheating? Maybe the CPU is too hot or some error, maybe a bad board. Since you've tried a lot of software fixes, try taking the PC apart and seeing if something isn't seated right or broken.

Yours faithfully

Done like 5 times Might be a bad GPU even though It is detected right, CPU never had problems with an R7 240

Blue light next to 6 pin on GPU is lighting up

Other than a bad GPU (which I don't think would cause all of those issues) I can't think of anything else, try the R7 240 again.

Yours faithfully

Put it back in like 10 minutes ago and no lag, also the RX 460 has choppy audio

It might be something you overlook but check your hard drive's age and free capacity. I upgraded a system to a RX 460 recently in my spare system and seen that in CS:GO it only did about 50fps on 720p on Low settings. Turned out that a change for the hard drive was just fine. The hard drive was from 2009 but wasn't near full at all. Just have a look how old your hard drive is.

I'd say there is probably something wrong with it, bring it back to where you bought it or open an RMA with XFX

Let us know how it does, it solved everything for me. But may not work for you.

k so I think it was the Crimson ReLive That caused it because Ubuntu 16.10 is running really fast with AMD-PRO drivers ;D

I will wait for a fix and I requested that to AMD, also 1 more thing.

The older AMD drivers blocked access to graphics hardware for most programs :/
