So I'd like to be able to run multiple instances of windows on a server that's reasonably priced, i'd say anywhere from 5-15 instances at any given time would be the goal. preferably something thats not going to murder my bank account but if said option won't cut it, suggestions on something more expensivo would be cool, thanks.

do you need gpu, you can't really play games in a vm easily.

I may very well need one. I take it this thing can't do the whole 16x slot thing eh?

for your use, id probably just buy a ton of cheap laptops. You can't really play games in a vm easily(can't really play in a software gpu, vgpu is way too expensive, and passthrough is way to many cards, and a pain to use.

best cheap solution out there.

What game any ways, try it in a hyper-v vm on your desktop and see if remotefx works.

It seems as though people can get the game to run fine on netbooks with atom processors and no dedicated gpus, do you think it'd still be hard to use VM's?

most of the time they don't like running in vms due to how the virtual gpu's work

Try it in hyper-v with remotefx on your desktop or esxi
