i believe the 780ti has a minimum 600w requirement.. Try taking out the gpu and pluging hdmi cord into motherboard and see what happens.

Main PC |CPU - i7-6700k|GPU - R9 290x tri-x 4gb|RAM - 16gb ddr4|MOBO - MSI z170 - A PRO|HDD - WD 1TB/240gb Sandisk |PSU - 700w Raidmax

Laptop |CPU - i7 4720hq|GPU - 960m 2gb|Ram - 8gb 2x4|Model - y50-70 Touch|SSD - 240gb Patriot drive|Display - 1920x1080 IPS touch

Check the conections to your PC and for the monitor to a power source, also what kind of keyboard, mouse, and monitor do you have?

i have double checked all connections and cant seem to find the problem.

i use razer deathadder, cm masterkeys pro and benq xl2411 monitor

okei, ill try that but the keyboard and mouse would still be an issue.

He means that it might fix that as well as your GPU might drawning enough power to starve other components...  At least that what I think he means.

Take your gpu out, make sure your case usb connection to the motherboard is sturdy.

Try re seating the ram

If you have 1 stick of ram try buying another because that is a common issue as well

okei, i have taken out gpu, reseated ram and when i power on both cpu and psu starts working for about 5 seconds then it will shut down for a second and starts working again. monitor doesnt lit up nor keyboard and mouse.

could it be mobo fault? cos none of the usb's and hdmi doesnt work aswell

but then again cpu fan is working...
