I was wondering what was a good CPU for someone wanting the game with a budget of 800 U.S Dollars? Edit: The whole PC has a budget of 800 not the cpu

any 7 or 6th generation i5 will be good i personally get a K series all the time

@deXxterlab97 has a great build, but I'd make a couple of small tweaks to it. Mainly I'd go with an i7-7700 since it is 200 MHz faster than the i7-6700 for $9 more and since it can support DDR4-2400. Then I added two sticks of DDR4-2400 to run in dual channel mode. I'm blown away one could build a system like this for $800 today. It's nice because you go a little overkill on cpu so your system can last as is through another gpu upgrade in 2-3 years if you're looking to do that.
