What frame rate are you getting what do you mean you can not run it? The game isn't opening?

Also what are the usage of cpu/gpu and temps?

It might not be your pc specs causing the issue here unless you are having a heating or hardware issue.  While I don't play warcraft, I do play Final Fantasy 14 at max settings at 1440p and frames never drop below 100fps.

Edit:  Forgot to post my specs for reference

You're not the only one having this problem ss I'm looking on other forums like geforce and battle.net.

This is what I found on battle.net forum

Try these things:

Right click your desktop and open up Nvidia Control Panel and navigate to Manage 3D Settings on the left panel and then click on Global Settings.
If you scroll down to the bottom you should see "Power Management Mode" make sure that this is turned on to "Prefer Maximum Performance".

Another thing you can do is:

1. disable AA (Antialiasing - Transparency)
2. disable MFAA (Multi-Frame Sampled AA)
3. If youre having an issue with pre-rendered frames you can set Virtual Reality pre-rendered frames to 1 or 3.

Im almost betting that you dont have a gsync or vsync monitor so you can also leave Vertical Sync to use 3D Application Settings.

Once youre done here pop over to the Program Settings tab on the top of the current page, Select WoW and just reaffirm that Power Management Mode is set to "Use global setting (prefer max performance)"

Apply the settings - you may need to also reboot your computer as well.

As always make sure your computer is fully up to date with service packs and any odds and ends updates from microsoft, it sounds useless but they honestly help ALOT.

Another really neat thing you can do that almost no one knows about nor does is:

1. Pull up your search bar type in Power Options
2. Select "Change plan settings" on whichever one you have it set on
3. Select "Change Advanced Power Settings"
4. Scroll to PCI Express > Link State Power Management
5. Select a different setting (Mine is set on Moderate Power Savings and I have no issues.)

Going further I just found out that Blizzard doesn't even support Geforce 1000 series.
