can ou make your own laptop battery?

i see all these people making 16,000 mah batteries for diy laptop projects and i wondered if i could do that with my dell latitude e6430. it has a removable battery so could i buy a really small cheap battery and add more cells to the battery and make the capacity go up to 16,000 mah instead of the measly 5000 it has now?

Yeah, definitely.

Just make sure you do your research and know what you're doing. Batteries are dangerous, don't fuck with them.

it makes space, dell sells a three-cell battery to go in its place.

and the answer by mug above is correct, but you can also buy the 9 cell for the back and 9 cell for the bottom docking connector as a slice.n

you can attach a battery to the bottom connector? also will these batteries show up on the battery meter as extra charge and not just, the laptop is charging?
